ОК, т.е. в зависимости от контекста, мы можем перевести Ayasofya как св. София (буквально) или как "святая мудрость", или в данном конкретном случае — по тому смыслу, который вложили в название создатели храма. Правильно?
Я, собственно, просто заметил, что "ай/ая" — "святой/святая".
P.S. То, что в название храма в Стамбуле вкладывался другой смысл — не знал, за это спасибо.
